Here we go again. It’s only been three and a half months since the 95th Academy Awards, but with June coming to an end the race to make next year’s ceremony is making its first turn around the bend. Campaigning for fall film festival slots is in full effect (the crowd at the annual Telluride Film Festival reception in Los Angeles last week was packed full of consultants and studio publicists) and the end of year release calendar is beginning to take shape.
