Every Movie Releasing in Theaters in February 2024

Jan 22, 2024

2024 started with intriguing theatrical releases, such as Night Swim, The Beekeeper, and Mean Girls. With many more anticipated releases on the horizon, moviegoers have an abundance of alternatives to spend their weekends. Having said that, before we get into the films that will be released in 2024, this February has some wonderful titles to offer.

Aside from the obvious films like Madame Web and Argylle, which have been on viewers’ minds for months, there are also a few horror thrillers that you can enjoy. For example, even though Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey received terrible reviews, it became an instant cult classic, and a sequel is set to be released in the following month but exclusively in Russia. With that in mind, here’s every other exciting movie coming to theaters in February 2024.

Argylle is one of the most anticipated films of the year, thanks to its star-studded ensemble that includes Henry Cavill, Dua Lipa, Samuel L. Jackson, and John Cena. Apple has partnered with Universal to release Argylle in cinemas, as it did with Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon.

Argylle follows Elly Conway, an aloof spy novelist who seldom leaves her house but finds herself entangled in an espionage adventure when the narratives of her works coincide with the activities of a malevolent organization. With Aiden, an undercover agent, trying to save her from being abducted or murdered, how will Elly cope with the new life of danger? Argylle will be released in theaters on Feb. 2.

Bob Marley: One Love

Among the films due in theaters in February 2024, Bob Marley: One Love is an outlier because it chronicles the life of the singer Bob Marley, who was a pioneer of the reggae music genre and introduced Jamaican music to the world.

As a musician who deserved his own biopic, the film is set during his ascent to stardom, when he embarked on a journey to unify people with his astonishing vocals and eloquent messages. It will also recount how Marley became a revolutionary musician despite facing challenges such as discrimination, assassination attempts, and more. Bob Marley: One Love will be released theatrically on Feb. 14, 2024.

Madame Web

Madame Web, despite being a part of the Spider-Man universe, quickly became meme material upon the release of its official trailer in November 2023. That being said, the premise looks rather intriguing, with Dakota Johnson playing the titular protagonist, Madame Web.

The story follows Cassandra Webb, a New York City paramedic who experiences visions after an unpleasant incident and has since started seeing the future. She eventually finds herself protecting three women from a dreadful adversary who also appears to possess powers similar to hers. Madame Web will be in theaters on Feb. 14, just in time for Valentine’s Day.
