The heroes of those stories will be familiar to diehard “Star Wars” fans, too. Fans of “Ahsoka” and “Star Wars: The Clones Wars,” take note. Set in different areas, the upcoming series follows two warriors on divergent paths: Morgan Elsbeth as she thirsts for vengeance in the midst of an expanding empire, and former Jedi Barriss Offee as she seeks refuge in a galaxy she doesn’t recognize anymore. And expect other fan favorite characters to show up, too, like Thrawn, General Grievous, and more.
Here’s an official synopsis for “Star Wars: Tales Of The Empire,” courtesy of Disney+:
“Star Wars: Tales of the Empire” is a six-episode journey into the fearsome Galactic Empire through the eyes of two warriors on divergent paths, set during different eras. The choices they make will define their destinies.

Dave Filoni creates the series and serves as supervising director. He also executive produces the series with Athena Yvette Portillo and Carrie Beck. All six episodes of “Star Wars: Tales of the Empire” premiere exclusively on Disney+ on May 4, otherwise known as Star Wars Day. Watch a trailer for the upcoming series below.
