Fast X Trailer Release Date Revealed

Jan 14, 2023

The first Fast X trailer release date has been revealed, providing a more specific idea of when the first look at Vin Diesel’s 2023 movie will arrive.

The first Fast X trailer release date has been revealed, confirming it will arrive just before the Super Bowl. The tenth installment of the main Fast & Furious franchise is set to be one of the biggest yet. Vin Diesel returns to star as Dominic Toretto in a movie that will help set up the final entry of the franchise. Anticipation is high for Fast & Furious 10 as a result, especially with major new cast members like Jason Momoa and Brie Larson joining the massive group of franchise regulars. Understandably, there has been a lot of interest in when the first footage will arrive.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY

According to a report from Collider, the outlet has revealed that the Fast X trailer release date is February 10, 2023, which is just two days before Super Bowl LVII. The report comes shortly after Vin Diesel confirmed the Fast & Furious 10 trailer is releasing in February.

The announcement is not yet official from Universal Pictures, but Collider’s report notes that it could be an epic-sized first Fast X trailer. The outlet mentions that the runtime could be north of 3 minutes when the footage initially is released. With the Fast 10 trailer releasing days before the Super Bowl, it is likely that a shorter version will play during the Big Game.

Everything We Know About Fast X

The Fast X trailer will provide audiences with a lot more details about the upcoming sequel. Originally meant to be directed by Fast Five’s Justin Lin, he left the project early in production and was replaced by Louis Leterrier (Now You See Me). Vin Diesel once again headlines the ensemble cast with familiar faces in Michelle Rodriguez’s Letty, Tyrese Gibson’s Roman, Ludacris’ Tej, Jordana Brewster’s Mia, Sung Kang’s Han, Nathalie Emmanuel’s Ramsey, and Charlize Theron’s Cipher returning. The Fast X cast also includes Jason Momoa as a villain and Brie Larson, Daniela Melchior, and Alan Ritchson in mystery roles.

While the cast and crew for Fast & Furious 10 are known, what the movie’s story is about and the challenges that Dom and his crew will encounter are a mystery. There has been plenty of speculation about the potential inclusion of time travel as a way to top F9 going to space. Teases have also come that Paul Walker’s character Brian O’Connor could return in Fast 10 in some capacity despite the actor’s tragic passing in 2013. But with Fast X’s reported $340 million budget, there are seemingly no limits to what the movie could include – except a Dwayne Johnson cameo.

What To Expect From The Fast X Trailer

It should be expected that the Fast 10 trailer will be full of action. The franchise is known for its unbelievable action sequences at this point, and Universal has a tendency of teasing jaw-dropping action in its marketing. This is especially true if the studio plans to spend millions getting the Fast X trailer in front of Super Bowl audiences. With the movie releasing only three months after the trailer debut, the combination of ridiculous set pieces, the franchise’s family focus, and teases of the new characters can sell Fast X as a major 2023 blockbuster.
