‘Peacemaker’ Season 2 Will Star Brey Noelle as Batman Villain White Rabbit

Mar 31, 2025

A lesser-known Batman villain is joining the DCU, as actress Brey Noelle has confirmed she will appear in Peacemaker Season 2. Despite Peacemaker Season 1 airing in 2022 and originally being part of the DCEU, Season 2 of the hit series will now take place in James Gunn’s new DCU and will debut in August 2025, just one month after Superman. Despite Peacemaker taking place on the outskirts of the DC franchise, it often has a lot of fun featuring lesser-known heroes and villains and giving them the spotlight. Season 2 looks to introduce a new member of Batman’s rogue gallery. Just don’t expect the Court of Owls.
IMDb lists Brey Noelle as playing the DC villain White Rabbit in Peacemaker Season 2. While IMDb listings don’t always mean an actor will be part of the series, Noelle confirmed the casting news on her Instagram stories. The account Gunnverse made a post welcoming Noelle to the DCU, and the actress responded by saying “thank you” alongside a pair of praying hands and the happy tears emoji. In another story regarding the news, she posted three white hearts.
Noelle has a few television credits to her name, including small roles in Secret Life of a Dominatrix and Crazy Neighborhood Moms. She is primarily known as a singer, and a sample of her music can be found on Spotify. Currently, she is only listed to appear in one episode of Peacemaker Season 2, which is the premiere episode. This could imply she has a minor role in the series, either as a low-level threat taken down by Peacemaker’s team or even a fun cameo role like Calender Man in The Suicide Squad.
Who is White Rabbit, and What is Her Role in ‘Peacemaker?’

The original White Rabbit debuted in Adventures of Superman #500 in 1993. However, the best-known version debuted in DC’s Batman: The Dark Knight Vol 2 #1 in November 2011 and was created by David Finch and Paul Jenkins as part of DC’s New 52. This version of the character is named Jaina Hudson and is the daughter of an American diplomat and an Indian Bollywood actress. Jaina’s powers allow her to duplicate herself into two beings, a second version of herself and White Rabbit, with this person having white skin and hair. Jania and White Rabbit are two distinct people with their own thoughts and opinions. With Noelle listed as White Rabbit, she may be just playing the White Rabbit persona, and someone else might be cast in the Jania Hudson role, if indeed that part of the role is included at all.
White Rabbit is the type of character who certainly fits the tone of the Peacemaker series, as it favors obscure DC characters to populate its story. The first season had the title hero, Vigilante and Judomaster, and the often forgotten racist villain, White Dragon. Peacemaker Season 2 will introduce Sol Rodríguez (Star Trek: Picard) as Sasha Bordeaux, another character commonly associated with Batman. A mysterious photo for Peacemaker Season 2 has many fans thinking the series will feature the hero Apache Chief, created for the Super Friends animated series. Frank Grillo will also reprise his role as Rick Flag Sr. in Peacemaker Season 2, following his appearances in Creature Commandos and Superman. Even though it has been three years since Peacemaker Season 1, if Season 2 is as good as its predecessor, it will have been worth the wait.
