Daredevil is born again in the first trailer for the long-awaited Disney+ series, and MCU fans love what they’re seeing. Following the release of the first footage, fans have quickly taken to social media to share their thoguhts, feelings, and opinions on the return of The Man Without Fear. Daredevil: Born Again will take inspiration from the comic book arc of “Mayor Fisk,” which finds New York falling to The Kingpin as he becomes the city’s newly elected mayor. The story finds Matt Murdock working for Fisk, with the Kingpin of Crime using his talent for spin and false philanthropy to wage a war against costumed vigilantes. Though the trailer seems to suggest that this is exactly what Fisk wants. Whatever happens, fans cannot get enough of Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio back together again.
“We’ve all waited so damn long for this. It looks incredible,” says X/Twitter user @Greenbaumly, no doubt echoing what many are feeling right now. “ITS SO FREAKING PERFECT OMG!!! Goosebumps!!! I still cannot believe this is real and we are actually getting the Daredevil season 4, we have been waiting for ages. Wish time goes by fast until March 4th,” adds @AwaaraHoon, with @shivuuuuuuuu0 saying, “We’ve all been waiting so long for this, and it looks absolutely amazing.”

The Disney+ Daredevil series will bring back several familiar faces. Much to the delight of fans. The series stars Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil alongside Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, aka Kingpin, with the rest of the cast including Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle, aka The Punisher, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Franklin “Foggy” Nelson, and Wilson Bethel as Benjamin “Dex” Poindexter, aka Bullseye, as well as Margarita Levieva, Michael Gandolfini, and Genneya Walton.
Daredevil Will Continue His Violent Ways Despite Being on Disney+

The series, which will debut on Disney+, will clearly continue the violent crusade of The Man Without Fear. And fans love to see that, despite the jump over to The House of Mouse, Daredevil’s tactics haven’t changed. “So far it looks like Disney did not hold back! LFG!” says @cyberwitherik, while @damiebi10 adds, “This looks so good. The hits feel hard. Looks gritty and grounded. The cinematography looks really good as well. PEAK show incoming.”

Summing things up, @UpToTASK puts it well, saying, “Just waking up in the morning, gotta thank God. Welp folks. We made it. We actually did it. Daredevil is back in the MCU. First ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Trailer Has Finally Been Released & It’s Bloody Glorious

The first trailer for ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ has finally been released online. Yes, it was worth the wait.

While you’d think it would be easy, bringing Daredevil back to screens following the character’s acclaimed Netflix run, which was unceremoniously canceled alongside other Marvel shows such as Jessica Jones and Luke Cage, has been surprisingly difficult. Reports from last year revealed that Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige had been left unhappy with the direction of the reboot, letting all the writers and directors go and deciding to rebuild the series. Not quite from scratch, but worryingly near enough.
Issues reported at the time included Matt Murdock not suiting up as the costumed vigilante until several episodes in, and the show not being aligned with the Netflix outing. While the series was not intended to be a continuation of the Netflix saga, this has now been changed, with returning star Vincent D’Onofrio confirming to TV Insider that “It originally wasn’t going to be at all, but now it’s a lot.” The Punisher producer Dario Scardapane will now serve as showrunner on Daredevil: Born Again with Loki duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead as lead directors. Daredevil: Born Again is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on March 4, 2025, as part of Phase Five of the MCU.
