Nov 3, 2023
As is often the case, November is a packed month for the film release schedule. There are plenty of festival favorites that made the rounds and are now getting their mainstream release. It’s also a big month for notable directors with new films from everyone from Sofia Coppola to Ridley Scott. With that said, we can’t write about everything, but even those not mentioned on the below list are worthy of checking out. There’s the Colman Domingo-led “Rustin” available on Netflix on November 17. Awkwafina and Sandra Oh make for a hilarious duo in “Quiz Lady,” out November 3. For more November 3 releases, Daisy Ridley and Ben Mendelsohn star in “The Marsh King’s Daughter” from director Neil Burger, and Meg Ryan returns to her romantic comedy roots in “What Happens Later.” “Godzilla Minus One” looks to be one of the most exciting monster flicks in ages. Sam Esmail adapts the novel by Rumaan Alam with “Leave the World Behind” out November 22, while Eli Roth brings horror to the season in “Thanksgiving” arriving November 17. There’s truly something for everyone.
