Peacock’s Acclaimed Whodunnit Series Returns This Spring With An Impressive Guest Star Lineup
Feb 25, 2025
Peacock’s critical darling murder mystery streaming series “Pokerface” is finally back and the streamer has dropped a batch of first-look images. From producer Rian Johnson (“Knives Out”) and showrunner Tony Tost, the detective series follows Natasha Lyonne (“Russian Doll”) as Charlie, a wise-cracking human lie detector in the comedic series homaging a beloved sub-genre of scripted crime television that birthed shows such as “Murder She Wrote” and “Columbo.”
In season two, we see Charlie (Lyonne) getting involved, again, by solving a new wave of murder cases that will feature a bunch of familiar faces and new victims. One of the selling points for “Pokerface” is the impressive collection of guest stars and the next season has its fair share of names involved.
