The ScreenRant box office newsletter now has its own official feed. As part of 2024’s ScreenRant 7.0 update, we have expanded the scope of our newsletters. Readers can now sign up for exclusive newsletters sharing the latest news and updates in a variety of categories. It can now be catered to anyone’s tastes, with separate mailing lists for topics such as general news, awards, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, video games, and much more.
Now, you can also sign up for my box office newsletter! My name is Brennan Klein, and I’m a senior reporter at ScreenRant. In addition to reporting on box office throughout the week as part of the News team, every Sunday I share a newsletter update collecting all the biggest box office stories of the week. To get this newsletter straight to your inbox, just select “Box Office” when you sign up (along with whatever other topics catch your eye). Or, if you’re already a subscriber, make sure to update your preferences to include “Box Office.”

Why You Should Sign Up For The ScreenRant Box Office Newsletter
Get Updates, Predictions, And More

First and foremost, the newsletter is a must-read for anyone who wants to follow and make sense of what’s going on in theaters. Why was the Joker: Folie à Deux box office so dismal? How did Inside Out 2 become the highest-grossing animated movie of all time? Why did Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga fall behind The Garfield Movie so quickly? In addition to collecting the biggest news stories of the week, the newsletter will offer exclusive analysis breaking down some of the potential reasons for the way the box office is shaping up, both domestically and worldwide.
Other recent big news stories covered in the newsletter include
The Crow
‘s dismal box office run,
The Wild Robot
‘s slow and steady rise to the top, and
Deadpool & Wolverine
‘s unstoppable run at No. 1.
My personal favorite part of the newsletter comes at the end, though, after the news has been fully broken down. Every time, I predict the following weekend’s domestic Top 5. I’m no Nostradamus, but it’s an exciting thought experiment to take a look at the upcoming new releases and see how they might fit into the current landscape. For instance, Terrifier 3 beating Joker was a real surprise, but afterward, looking back, the full picture came into view about how that happened. Plus, one weekend, I got all five movies exactly right, so I’m still riding high on that.

Huge Movies Are Hitting Theaters In November

November is a great time to join the box office mailing list. Although the most recent weekend was slow, as the holiday season heats up, we’re going to see major competitors clash for the No. 1 spot over Thanksgiving. This includes the long-awaited Broadway adaptation Wicked and Ridley Scott’s belated sequel Gladiator II sparring when they open on the same weekend. Shortly afterward, Disney’s upcoming Moana 2 will also jump into the fray, with early projections already showing it on track to break a number of records. Keep up with all this and more by signing up!
