The Bear Season 2 Trailer Teases the Return of the Critically Acclaimed Series
May 30, 2023
The new trailer for the second season of The Bear tells us to “remember the name” as the footage teases the return of the critically acclaimed FX comedy drama. Released courtesy of FX Networks, the trailer teases more of the award-winning storytelling and central performances that saw the first season of The Bear become a hugely successful cultural phenomenon. Check out the newly released trailer for The Bear season two below.
All about food, family, the insanity of the grind, the beauty of Sense of Urgency and the steep slippery downsides, The Bear introduces audiences to Jeremy Allen White as Carmen “Carmy” Berzatto, an award-winning New York City chef de cuisine, who leaves the fine dining world behind and returns to Chicago to run his family’s sandwich shop, the Original Beef of Chicagoland. The brilliant young chef is sadly forced to make the trip home to take care of the family business after a heartbreaking death in his family.

Thus, the second season will once again center on the ups, the downs, and the in-betweens of Carmy as he continues to fight to transform both The Original Beef of Chicagoland and himself, working alongside a rough-around-the-edges kitchen crew that ultimately reveal themselves as his chosen family.
“Nobody’s fixed and everyone’s a work in progress. Every second counts… It really is the natural extension,” creator Christopher Storer said of the upcoming second season. “The thing we talk about a lot is that winning is losing, so even though they have this new opportunity, it still creates a lot of the same problems… Season 2 really is about the opportunity to start fresh and what does that mean. What does Carmen and Sydney’s dream restaurant look like? But also at the same time, what is a dream restaurant in 2023 look like? I think that’s the thing they’re sort of battling with.”
