If you’re a Superman fan, April 18th is a special day. To comic fans, the day is considered “Superman Comic Day” and celebrates the copyright date for Action Comics #1, which was the comic the Man of Steel himself made his grand debut. While there’s debate over the actual ‘birthday’ of Superman, Warner Bros. is using the date to celebrate by sharing a new clip of the upcoming Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen, Part One. The clip can be viewed below.

The clip starts off with Ruby Rose thanking Clark for something (probably a fight with a Grimm). Clark mentions something off with his powers. Ruby and her big sister Yang Xiao Long approach Clark as he comments how the sun of this world is different from Earth. Yang asks him his name, to which he introduces himself as Superman, then Clark after they ask him for a “regular” name.

In another clip, shared by CBR.com, shows what Wonder Woman has been up to. The clip, which can be viewed below, introduces Diana to Blake Belladonna and her mother. Diana appears to have woken up within the kingdom of Menagerie, where Blake and her family are from.

Finally, we get to see Vixen, Cyborg, The Flash, and Green Lantern in action. In a clip shared by OtakuUSA, the group spars off with team JNR, consisting of Jaune Arc, Nora Valkyrie, and Lie Ren. The clip can be viewed below, which further establishes the struggles the Justice League face after losing their powers (poor Green Lantern).

Justice League x RWBY: Super Heroes & Huntsmen, Part One

Justice League x RWBY, Super Heroes & Huntsmen, Part One was first announced in July 2022. It is considered the first film based on the highly popular Rooster Teeth web series, RWBY. Created by Monty Oum, RWBY follows the titular team of Ruby Rose (Lindsay Jones), Weiss Schnee (Kara Eberle), Blake Belladonna (Arryn Zech), and Yang Xiao Long (Barbara Dunkelman) as they try to save their world of Remnant from the immortal being, Salem. The series premiered online in July 2013 and is currently on its ninth season.

Joining the voices of Team RWBY are Natalie Alyn Lind, Ozioma Akagha, Nat Wolff, David Errigo Jr., Jeannie Tirado, Chandler Riggs, and Tru Valentino. The film is directed by Kerry Shawcross and written by Meghan Fizmartin. Ethan Spaulding, Jim Krieg, and Kimberly S. Moreau are signed on as producers. Meanwhile, Laura Yates is supervising producer, with Michal Uslan and Sam Register are executive producers.

Justice League x RWBY, Super Heroes & Huntsmen, Part One is scheduled for release on April 25th for digital purchase on online platforms such as Prime Video, Apple TV, and more. The film will also be available on 4K Ultra HD and Blu-Ray. Meanwhile, RWBY is available to stream in its entirety on Crunchyroll. The current ninth season follows Team RWBY as they find themselves waking up in a strange, surreal world unlike anything they crossed before. As the team struggles to find their way home, Ruby Rose starts to feel the weight of all their previous adventures on her shoulders.
